Epimenidis Koutsaftakis, better known by his stage name Epi K. Paradox, is a talented singer, songwriter, and guitar player originally from Chania, Crete. His journey to musical stardom started in the sun-soaked Mediterranean, but he traded the beautiful landscapes of his homeland for the bustling music scene of London, UK. This move was a pivotal step in his career, allowing him to immerse himself in the rich musical heritage of the city and develop his unique sound.

Epi K. Paradox’s music is a refreshing blend of contemporary Blues and traditional Rhythm and Blues, drawing inspiration from the British Blues Explosion of the late 60s and early 70s. His influences range from the roaring guitar riffs of Buddy Guy, Mike Bloomfield, Jimmy Page, and Roy Buchanan, to the revival sound of the Blues era. His songwriting skills reflect this rich musical heritage, while his contemporary approach adds a fresh twist to the genre.

After completing his studies at BIMM London and London College of Music in 2017 and 2018 respectively, Epi K. Paradox began performing in various venues across London. His powerful debut digital single “Find My Baby” was released in late October 2018, setting high expectations for his debut album, “I’ll Take The Long Road,” which was released in September 2019. His latest EP, “Out of the Blue,” was released in December 2021, showcasing his production skills and his effortless sense of style and aesthetics in a diverse range of Blues and Roots idioms.
