Bárbara Martínez: jazz and flamenco from New York

Bárbara Martínez a professional vocalist and dancer who was raised and based in New York City. She leads two solo projects, one is a latin jazz/flamenco program that began with a sold-out evening at Carnegie Weill Hall twelve years ago and which can be seen frequently in jazz venues and festivals.

Grammy nominee Ariacne Trujillo Duran was born in Havana, Cuba. She began her career as a child prodigy. Blessed with perfect pitch, she's had an extensive career as a concert pianist and composer. She achieved Master prizes and Special Mentions in national and international Cuban competitions and performed at the country's top theaters and halls.

O Kwarteto is a NYC- and Madrid-based female string quartet primarily dedicated to Brazilian music with jazz influence adapted to our instrumentation. O Kwarteto performs original arrangements of music from genres ranging from Samba and Forro (Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Sivuca) to Chorinho (Jacob do Bandolim, Pixinguinha), MPB (Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento, Dorival Caymmi) and Bossa Nova (Antonio Carlos Jobim).
